Zack obtained his undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of South Florida (USF), graduating cum laude from the USF Honor’s College. Recognizing his desire to dedicate his time and studies to healthcare and the health of those in his community, he pursued his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at USF as well, equipping him with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional medical care.
With his extensive training and education, Zack has developed a strong foundation in orthopedics, with a focus on sports medicine and shoulder injuries. He possesses a keen eye for detail, thoroughly assessing patients and working closely with Dr. Howell to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Orthopedic Physician Assistant Society (OPAS). Outside of work, Zack enjoys staying active through various sports and outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and two children.
